Friday Links

jelloIn an effort to bring you more of all the wacky and weird that the internet has to offer, here are the Friday links.

1. This YouTube video has been making the rounds, but if you haven’t seen it yet, you are missing out. The couple managed to get their entire wedding party to dance up the aisle to Forever, and the results are hilarious and a little bit touching.

2. Awkward family photos. Pictures of strangely posed “professional” photographs with odd and sometimes disturbing props thrown in for good measure.

3. Quiz: Did Andy Rooney Really Say That? Test your knowledge of classic Rooneyisms.

4. Weight Watchers recipe cards from 1974. Because, apparently, if you wanted to lose weight back then, all you had to do was encase your food in gelatin. Mmmm, shiny.

5. And speaking of gelatin, here is an article about the history of that classic childhood treat, Jell-O. You may never look at “transparent concentrated or solidified jelly containing all the ingredients fitting it for table use, in a portable form, and requiring only the addition of a prescribed quantity of hot water to dissolve it, when it may be poured into glasses or molds and when cold will be fit for use” the same way again!
