If mosquitoes are making you a prisoner in your own home this late into the Summer, but you just can’t bear the thought of buying those party store-reject tiki torches, this simple “why didn’t I think of that” DiY project may be your solution. Using empty wine bottles and a handful of readily available hardware store parts, Design for Life came up with this elegant solution. While I think the cobalt blue thing is a little bit overdone, I would love to try this project with green recycled wine bottles, with a few drops of citronella oil added for maximum mosquito-repelling effect.
